Welcome to the Manchester Yacht Club!

Spring is upon us and the staff is working quickly to open the clubhouse for the season ahead.  Weekend launch service begins on April 21 and daily service on April 30.  Our annual Commissioning chowder will be held on May 13 to kick off what promises to be a great year.  Be sure to view the online calendar for dates and time of other events such as the upcoming meteorology and cruising seminars.  More details on events can also be found in the latest issue of our newsletter, The Trident.

The calendar has a few changes, including new Wednesday evening races mid-summer, followed by drinks and a bring your own dinner gathering on the deck open to all members.  There is truly something for everyone in the schedule.  If you want to be more involved in your club, please consider serving on one of our committees: Cruising, Race Committee, Entertainment, House, Communications and others.

The MYC welcomes cruising boats.  If you are planning to visit Manchester, you may want to call ahead.  I look forward to seeing our membership and visiting sailors throughout the season.
